Welcome to The Idea Journal Newsletter
Welcome to The Idea Journal Newsletter! Thank you for allowing us to come to your inbox 2x a week (we promise we won’t spam you more than that)
We will have two types of newsletters, each will come to your inbox once a week:
Business Deep Dives - Once a week, we will take an in-depth look at a cool and unique business and try to dissect it. Our aim is to pick simpler businesses that almost anyone could start. Hopefully you gather some inspiration from these existing businesses.
Innovative Ideas - Once a week, in a separate email, we will propose a new and unique business/product idea. We will be as creative as possible. These will not be ideas that are pulled directly from the internet, but rather new ideas developed from careful brainstorming by our team.
Why a newsletter?
We are entrepreneurs at heart, but our brains won’t let us execute on many of these ideas. Many of you are probably like us in that regard. In fact, a lot of the time, discussing ideas is more fun than taking the trouble to follow through with them.
We are not afraid to share ideas with others. If the idea is sensitive and should be protected via patent before sharing, we will do that in advance of sharing. However, 9 times out of 10, good ideas are much simpler than that. If you take any of our ideas and build on them, awesome! If you want, feel free to throw us some free equity. 🙂
Perhaps most importantly, we’ve realized that the ideas themselves could be monetized through a low-risk business model. Sharing ideas via a newsletter can be engaging and will lead you form an opinion, which, in turn will keep you coming back for each new edition
You may think some of the ideas that come out in the newsletter are garbage. You may with my analysis of the ideas and businesses themselves. Yet, in the words of the social media and bowling legend Pete Weber – “Hate me or love me you watched.” Hopefully we add in a few laughs and make it an entertaining ride.
See you soon.
